1. Check if the water pump is moving and if it has rusted or stuck during factory testing;

2. Check whether the water pump rotates in a positive direction during operation and whether the current matches the rated current;

3. The water pump must be equipped with corresponding protection switches according to its type and model (phase protection, leakage protection, pressure reduction protection, start-up protection, and automatic control device);

4. High head water pumps are prohibited from being used at low heads (as the flow rate of the water pump increases, the current will correspondingly increase, causing the water pump to burn out). If the outlet of the water pump is closed and the water pump does not discharge water, the current will be relatively minimum and will not burn the water pump. A clamp shaped multimeter can be used for testing.

5. When the submersible pump is working in water (it must be operated under the protection of a protector, and it is prohibited to move the pump, cable, and corresponding switch protectors with electricity)
